And here we go...........AGAIN!!!!!!!!

WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!

It is great to be back at the keyboard after such a long time off.

I have missed connecting with everyone.

I have finally got my time worked out so that I can rededicate myself to this great endeavor.

As many of you know I now have a part time job at Loyola University Chicago as a dispatcher for their Campus Public Safety department. While smaller than what I am used to, it is a great place to be. The people here are exceptionally nice and they made me feel right at home. I am looking forward to hopefully spending a long time here.

As far getting back into the fray here at Duke’s I hope to reinvigorate people’s interest in issues that are so very important to those of us in law enforcement.

As I said before, we are slightly redesigned as I changed the name from DUKE’S DAILY BLOTTER to DUKE’S BLOTTER. This will relieve me of some pressure to make sure I get something up on here every single day and allow me to focus on issues and post what really matters. I will continue to strive towards daily updates but please understand if I miss a day here and there.

This is what we are going to focus on:

* Law Enforcement News

*Public Policy Watchdog (Legislative issues for law enforcement)

*Corruption Watchdog (All levels)

*Officer Down Memorials

* Keeping the Public and Law Enforcement Communities Informed

And as always, if there is an issue you feel that we should be looking into please let me know.

Thanks,

Duke
