PAROLE ALERT: Cop Killer Lawrence Merola

DO NOT grant parole to Lawrence Merola, inmate #13971. The inmate's cold blooded and violent murder of Lieutenant David Kraxner in 1966, and his 253 prison conduct violations since then, should preclude any consideration for parole.

As you are likely aware, inmate #13971 is also responsible for murdering a citizen of Missouri and shooting a correctional officer during an escape attempt.

The suspect was apprehended later in the morning and pleaded guilty in order to avoid the death penalty. He was subsequently sentenced to life in prison.
